We are now recruiting more volunteers to join our existing team to look after over 100 clients. If you can spare a few hours weekly, monthly or occasionally, we would like to hear from you.

Volunteer roles
Cordinator: With support from Session Leaders and the Trustees, the Coordinator manages the day-to-day running of the Food Bank.
Packers: From a list tailored to an individual client, a packer fills bags with food items from the Food Bank’s storage, ready for collection by the client.
Shopping: A shopper visits a supermarket to purchase fresh food, and brings it to Primley Church.
Collections: Food donations are left at supermarkets and some other locations. These need to be collected and brought to Primley church.
Session Leader: Supervises food distribution from Primley Church.
Deliveries: Some clients are unable to collect food in person. Food bags are delivered to the clients address.
Admin: No organisation can run without paperwork or it’s digital equivalent. This is a role for people who are comfortable using a computer.
