How to donate items

We are an independent Food Bank, not part of the Trussell Trust which is an umbrella organisation for many food banks across the UK. To donate food that will go directly to local people in the Sid Valley, please use the locations listed below. If you wish your donations to go further afield, food donated in, for example, Tesco Express in Sidmouth will go elsewhere but will still benefit people in need of help.

Please see our Shopping List page for our most urgent items.Food can be left at the Sidmouth Youth Centre during Food Bank opening hours (see Contact Us for times). Alternatively, use any of the premises below for non perishable items.

For health & safety reasons, donate only food that is within their ‘use by’ date and in their original sealed packaging please. If you have fresh produce to donate, perhaps from your garden or allotment, please contact us first to arrange delivery. (Sorry, we don’t have the resources to pick or collect.)

If you prefer to make a cash donation, please view our Donate cash page.
